Vitamins distribution, sources and functions

Vitamin deficiencies, called avitamins, cause a variety of diseases caused by disorders of the internal processes of the body. What exactly do they protect against? Vitamins are essential for the body, affect growth and health. What products contain vitamins? Can you get enough of them with your diet? Most of them are exogenous compounds that need to be supplied with food.

1. The distribution of vitamins

The human body is able to store fat-soluble vitamins mainly in the liver. This is not the case with water soluble vitamin. Vitamins can also be ordered because of structure. The vitamins are classified because of the physical properties to which their solubility belongs. When the supply is too high, there can be a hypervitaminose with a toxic effect on the body. Excess is excreted with the liver, which is why it is necessary to take care of their optimal nutritional intake every day. All vitamins in the B group have a nitrogen molecule, so they are counted among the remaining amino acids, namely nitric oxide, nitric acid, asbestos, ascetic acid (A), nitric acids (B), biphenyl (B) and nitric acetate (B).

2. The sources of the vitamins

Vitamin K is found, among other things, in green leafy vegetables and egg yolks. Vitamin C with antioxidant properties can be found in citrus fruits, red peppers and wild roses. Table 1. Full-grain products, liver and yeast are characterized by a richness in group B. Thanks to the use of a varied, colorful diet, red-based foods can provide all the necessary vitamins for the organism (Tab. 1).
