Vegetarian diet what is it, types, most important information

Few people are aware that there are several varieties of vegetarian diets that vary greatly, but, as I'm sure you all know, the vegetarian diet is basically about eliminating meat from our daily diets. And what does the standard vegetarian food pyramid look like? Why do people choose this diet? What types of vegetarians can we distinguish?

1. What is vegetarianism?

The word vegetarianism comes from two Latin words vegetabilis vegetable and vegetare grow, mature, flourish. Unfortunately, the exclusion of meat products alone does not guarantee an ideal diet, it is necessary to reach out more often for products containing a similar amount of micro- and macro-elements to meat.

2. The vegetarian food pyramid

In order to facilitate the use of a vegetarian diet, a food pyramid has been developed for vegetarians. Attention is paid to proper hydration, consumption of vegetables, fruits, cereals, protein-rich products such as legumes, as well as oils, nuts, seeds, and in the case of certain types of vegetarianism of dairy products and eggs. However, there is no one universal pyramid.

Vegetarianism is a specific way of eating in which the main principle is not to eat meat, meat, poultry, wildlife, and fish. It is a very big mistake to treat vegetarianism as one type of diet.

Allows the consumption of vegetables, fruit and vegetables while eliminating eggs, meat, fish and honey altogether.

9. Lacto-vegetarianism

12. Reasons to switch to a vegetarian diet

The most difficult part of a properly balanced vegetarian diet is avoiding nutritional deficiencies. 14. Vegetarian diet and weight loss

It's very important that both the vegetarian diet and the vegan diet are not weight loss diets, but that doesn't mean that you can't lose weight. The main rule of a vegetarian reduction diet is to eliminate all high-processed foods that are a source of empty calories.
