If milk comes from another animal, it should be included in the name, e.g. goat milk, cow milk. Other products that are milk-based are so-called dairy products.

Vegetable beverages are increasing in popularity year after year, and there are many varieties available on the market today. They can be made from grains, such as rice, oats, corn or orchid. They may also be based on strawberries, the most famous being soybean. Almond, coconut or pistachio beverage are made from nuts and peas.

3. Vegetable drinks to choose from

Given the wide availability of plant-based beverages, their choice is quite challenging. Any consumer may be at a disadvantage which beverage to choose and what to pay attention to. First of all, its composition. It should be as short as possible and it should be worth reaching for products without added sugar. The best solution would be a drink with only water and raw materials. However, the accessibility of products with such a good composition is very low, so vegetable drinks with added sunflower oil, salt or natural flavourings will also be a choice.
