Rhodiola rosea is one of the adaptogens of a group of plants characterized by its strengthening effects on the human body. In addition to mountain roses, the most well-known adaptogen are ashwagandha, Chinese lemon, Siberian ginseng, kola goth, bacopa monnieri, and maca. The compounds contained in plant raw materials affect both physical and mental fitness, reduce the effects of stress, and stimulate the body to return to homeostasis, or natural equilibrium.
