Despite appearances, it is not a novelty in Polish cuisine. Although until recently it could only be bought in health food stores, today it can be obtained in any supermarket. It can be eaten raw, in cocktails and salads, or after heat treatment, such as preparing the popular recently chips.

1. It's a health charm

It's no wonder that this forgotten vegetable has been so talked about lately.. until recently it was used exclusively for ornamental purposes.. it's a treasure trove of protein, fiber, vitamins primarily C and K, as well as mineral salts (especially calcium and potassium) and sulforaphane a powerful antioxidant.
