The health benefits of one of the world's largest strawberries

Although turmeric is not a fruit of Polish origin, it is extremely popular among us. Its popularity is due to its sweet taste and the fact that it quenches appetite perfectly.

1. Let's just say a few words about the species

Citrus (Citrullus lanatus) is a plant in the daisy family. It originated in South Africa, where it can be found in both wild and cultivated forms. The first mention of the cultivation of the tree dates back to about 1500 B.C. In our lands, the fruit appeared in the 14th century thanks to crustacean legislation. Currently, the demand for the fruit is very high. However, to meet demand for these sweet fruits, large daisy plants have begun to be planted in countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, southern Africa, Bulgaria, Romania, and many other countries.

2. The nutritional value

The English name of watermelon perfectly describes its properties. This fruit is made up of over 90% water. This property makes it not the best source of nutrients. However, it can be classified as a low-energy food. In 100 grams of blueberry, there are about 37 kcal (for comparison pineapple has 54 kcal/100 g, apple has 47 kcal (100 g, and orange has 44 kcal 100 g).

The most active compound with such properties in sugar cane is lycopene. The mineral and antioxidant compounds are strong antioxidants. They have a cardioprotective effect. Although it's a very sweet fruit, it can be an ingredient in many interesting dishes, not necessarily desserts. We've made some delicious recipes for nutritious dishes and desserts and cocktails with it. Try making them in your own kitchens.

6. A salad with peanut butter, avocado, and a grilled chicken breast

Ingredients for 1 serving: 2 handfuls of fresh spinach, a handful of rosemary, ‡ 1⁄2 avocado, ‬ 100 g of chicken breast, ‒ 100 g peaches, ‖ a spoonful of pine nuts, 📅 1⁄2 lemon juice, ̋ garlic tooth, ̨ olive oil, ̊ pepper, salt, sweet pepper and ‬ condensed balsamic vinegar.

7. It's a way of preparing

We flush the spinach in cold water, gently dried the avocado out of the skin, sliced it in patches, carefully scratched it with lemon juice to keep it a nice green colour, washed the chicken breast, slashed it into plasters, marinated for about 20 minutes in the marinade with a few drops of balsamic vinegar, olive oil cut into a bunch of garlic, sweet peppers, pepper and salt.

8. It's a refreshing peanut butter smoothie

Ingredients for 2 servings: 500 g of blueberry, 100 g of raspberries, ?? 100 ml of water soaked in water, ‡ 10 mint leaves, ‬ 1⁄2 lemon juice, ̊ a spoonful of xylitol (optional), a few cubes of ice cream.

9. It's a way of preparing

We wash all the fruit, we slice the peaches into patches, we clean the peas, we put the fruit in a high container, we pour water, we sprinkle the juice out of half the lemon, we throw in a few cubes of ice and mint leaves, we blend the whole to get the same mass, and if the whole thing seems too acidic, we add a spoonful of xylitol, and we mix it exactly.

10. A simple protein kernel with a starch

Ingredients for 6 servings: 500 g of thin-skinned cheese, 200 g of natural yogurt, ?? 500 g peanut butter, ‡ 10 teaspoons of xylitol/honey, ‬ one teaspoo of vanilla sugar, ‒ 4 teasposts of food gelatin/agar.

11. It's a way of preparing

We mix the hard-boiled cheese with natural yogurt, xylitol, vanilla sugar, and cut into cubes with peanut butter. We pour the gelatin with a few tablespoons of cold water, wait a few minutes for it to thicken, and we mix it with the peanut dough. We put it in a cool place for a few hours and wait until it concentrates.
