1. Skorzonera Species characteristics, curiosities

It comes in two main varieties which differ in the shape of the leaves. After the first winter, it becomes hard and fibrous, so it cannot be used in the kitchen. It is also called black snake, a term that comes from Spain, where it was used as an antidote to venomous snakebite bites. Its edible parts are spicy roots resembling a spicy root. After winter, however, they become hard and fibrey, so they can not be used for cooking. The most valuable are the short 20 22 cm long root, which is thicker and their collections are easier with a longer tail. The spicy bark resembles the white bark of this plant, and can be eaten for natural purposes in Europe. However, it can be found in the middle of the 20th century in the southern part of the country as well as in the northern parts of Europe. It can be grown as a natural crop, but it is not as popular in Europe as it has been in the past.

2. Skorzonera nutritional and health benefits

It also contains a number of mineral precursors, such as iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, selenium and chlorine. It has a low glycemic index and also contains inulin, a valuable polysaccharide found in the bulbs, joints and lower parts of the plant buds, which is a by-product. Our body's resistance to bacteria comes from the gut, so it is very important to take care of their proper functioning. It also increases the bioavailability of other ingredients such as magnesium, iron, potassium and zinc. Scientific studies show that inulin has potential anti-inflammatory properties.

3. Is it even a corsoner? Where to buy and what to pay attention to?

To try this vegetable, unfortunately, you have to put a little effort into it. If you don't have one in your immediate area, you can use the services of an online store. It's not a very high price for such a tasty and valuable vegetable. It requires special treatment. Secondly, the dye found in the vegetable is very durable. So if you want to avoid any unpleasant experiences, you should buy a rubber glove before you go to the store.

4. It's the culinary recipe

It can be cooked, salted, and ready to eat. There are few culinary recipes in which the root of the scorpion plays a major role. However, if you want to try the vegetable in a different way, here are some useful recipes.

5. A salad of corn and apples

When it is soft, it should be cut off and put aside. Add a small amount of lemon juice to the trunk (25 ml per day) for physical and mental regeneration. All ingredients (except nuts) should be poured into a bowl and thoroughly mixed. The salad is ready to eat! It turns out that the roots can be used to make tasty wine.
