In Poland, beer consumption in 2013 was about 97.5 litres per capita. Drinking beer has become a habit, we consume it during social gatherings, after hard work, especially when we are outdoors or after street runs, as a way to replenish electrolytes.

A cup (500 ml) of clear beer contains 245 kcal, which is often just as many kilocalories as a 100 g of soda in a pan fried in a tablespoon of oil. Remember, however, that every few cups of soda delivered from beer is really high. So if you drink a can of beer, it will be an energy surplus compared to your total energy consumption.
