1. Is this a sauna at all? What's the characteristic feature of the sauna?

There are several types of saunas. One of them is the Finnish sauna (dry sauna). The humidity of the air in it is low, and the air temperature is 75110°C. The walls of the cabin and its stairs are made of wood to protect the users from burning. The air is heated by a furnace called a sauna fire, which can also be heated with stone heating heaters. However, heating the stones during the operation causes a short-term increase in the water vapor content in the air. In a cabin it is usually possible to regulate any of the three types of air. The highest temperature means the sauna is the highest, and at the same time it is the most effective, so it is best to heat them with a heat pump. The second type of sauna, which operates at a temperature of 100°C or more, is used in this way. It is also used in other ways, such as heat pumps, which are not used in the same way as other types of thermal pumps.

2. Preparation for the visit

The first rule of using a sauna is to keep an hour's break from the last meal. The treatment should be done with an empty bladder. The body should be clean and dry. Clothes are not recommended. It is best to use a naked sauna, but if this is not possible, the cover should be made of natural material and should not contain metallic elements (to avoid burning the body). The best thing to do is to cover yourself with a towel. The use of the sauna consists of two phases: warm and cold.

3. Who can use it and who shouldn't

The sauna is good for people who are hospitalized, suffer from degenerative diseases of the joints, chronic inflammatory conditions of the genital organs, muscle pain, acne. It helps to relax and rest. It cannot be used by those who are sick and cold, with fever, infectious diseases, asthma, cardiovascular disease, cancer, kidney and liver disease, disorders of internal secretion, and pregnant women.

4. The sauna and its effects on weight loss

The sauna definitely does not affect fat burning and weight loss. The weight loss recorded after a visit to the sauna is due to the loss of water from the body, which is 400800 ml. After supplementing with fluids the weight will return to normal.
