Overview of one-day diets

One-day cleansing diets are hard to call slimming and healthy diets. The phenomenon is their rapidly growing popularity, especially in the context of their use to lose weight. Below are some examples of one-day diets that can be found online as diets to help detoxify the body.

Table of Contents

1. Diets for the head and tail

As the name suggests, this diet is mainly based on the intake of hard cheese. The caloric value depends on the amount of hard cheeses we eat during the day and on the type of additives, as the hard cheese can be consumed with bananas, lemon skin, peppers or potatoes. This diet used for more than one day can be very harmful to the body, not only because of nutrient deficiencies but also because of excess protein.

2. Potatoes

Potatoes are a good source of easily digestible starch, C vitamins, potassium, calcium and magnesium. They are a low-calorie product. It is worth noting that the greatest amount of vitamins and minerals are found under the skin, the nutritional value of potatoes depends on, for example, the thickness of the coat, storage time, cooking method.

3. The apple diet

The apple diet is often used because it purports to cleanse the body. It is based on eating apples and drinking large amounts of fluids during the day, such as undigested water or herbal tea. Additionally, it is recommended to eat apple cider vinegar. Using it for one day may not harm the body, but the prospect of longer use is associated with the appearance of major deficiencies.

4. Oatmeal diet

Oatmeal is more commonly used for weight reduction than body cleansing, but we can also find this information when looking at non-scientific sources on the Internet. This diet is based on low energy intake. You only eat oats throughout the day, most often cooked in water. Although, of course, oats are a recommended daily food product in a rational diet because they are a source of complex carbohydrates, vitamin B, a dietary fiber, you should definitely not consume them alone.

5. The banana diet

Another example of a one-day diet that's used for low energy or body cleansing is the banana diet -- it's based on eating bananas all day long -- you can combine them with protein -- you shouldn't eat more than six bananas a day.

6. The Capuchin diet

A final example, although of course there may be more of a variety of daily diets, is the Capuchin diet. It relies mainly on the consumption of vegetable soup, the main ingredient of which is cabbage. This diet consists of limiting the intake of both protein and fat in the daily diet. Its use can hinder the absorption of vitamins soluble in fats, etc. However, insufficient nutrient intake can also cause headache, or general weakness and irritation. This supplement is a monotonous diet and in the long run it leads to a lack of nutrients or nutrients to lead to a deterioration in health.
