Overcome the fatigue with BCAA

Lack of motivation, loss of concentration, even sweating have affected everyone's training. One happens more often, but no one misses the occasional motivation gap. Is it the fault of laziness and the mental weakness that we've created ourselves? No. Contrary to popular belief, it's not also a fault of bad weather. Each of us has the right to have a bad day where our 100% is not what it used to be.

Table of Contents

1. It's the kind of fatigue you get when you're training

I'm tired These are words that not only make a bad excuse for not wanting to continue training, but also make a very inaccurate description of the current physiological state. Or I'm feeling a high central fatigue. And a more precise statement would be one of the following: I feel a high peripheral fatigue Both of these variations will lead to a decrease in intensity of training, and ultimately to its cessation. But at the physiological level, they are completely different from it.

2. The interaction between BCAA and serotonin

Serotonin synthesis in the brain is a multi-step process, but the first step is catalyzed by the enzyme hydroxylase tryptophanase, and as the name suggests, the substrate used in the process of synthesizing serotonin is tryptophane. It is one of the essential amino acids, with several unique characteristics. The first is that trypthane is the only amino acid transported in the bloodstream by binding to the transport protein albumin. Only about 10% of tryptonine is transported into the blood stream in this bloodstream form, and will not be bound to albumin.

3. Practical recommendations

The physiological processes described above do indeed seem to apply in practice. Human studies show that the BCAA mixture taken during exercise helps to reduce fatigue. In one study, when testing the time to exhaustion in endurance training, BCAA supplementation helped to extend training from 137 to 153 minutes. However, these results were obtained in people who trained at elevated temperatures. The results were not so clear.
