Diet is an extremely important part of the treatment process for many diseases, and maintaining proper nutrition is one of the priorities. What it consists of, in what cases it should be used, and whether it is available for general sale?

1. Use in food

Because it is a concentrated source of energy and nutrients, too fast intake would be a major burden on the body, which would not be able to digest nutrients effectively. For some patients, the form or taste of the supplement may be unacceptable. Familiarity with food and the dominance of the flavor of the dietary supplement by other ingredients may increase the likelihood of a meal being taken by the patient.

2. Availability of ONS

They do not require a prescription, but they should be purchased by your doctor and used under his or her supervision. They are generally available online or in pharmacies. Oral supplements are currently non-refundable. There are many supplements available with different properties and a wide range of flavors, making it easier to adapt them to the needs and preferences of the patient.
