Neck rib syndrome

1. What is a cervical rib syndrome?
Naffziger's disease is usually the result of excessive and pathological pressure on the nervous and vascular structures of the bone marrow, which supply the upper quadrant of the cartilage (i.e. upper extremity and the area around the cervical spine). It should be added that the presence of neck rib syndrome is often accompanied by overloads and pathologies of the bridge-patternal muscle, as well as the decline of the lateral carotid artery. The mechanism of this pathology is the formation of a superprogrammed bone structure, commonly called the extra rib or cervic vertebrae.
