Mandarines how to use them in the kitchen

Mandarins in Polish homes appear most often in autumn and winter reminiscent of the approaching holiday season.

1. Mandarin is a fruit of the citrus family

Mandarin like lemon, grapefruit or orange belongs to the citrus fruits which are the most commonly consumed group of products in the world. Mandarines are mainly used in the food industry and are also used in cosmetics and pharmacology (A. Czech et al. 2020).

2. The nutritional value of mandarins

Mandarins are a rich source of vitamins C and A as well as essential minerals such as calcium, potassium, phosphorus and magnesium. In addition, they contain flavonoids, phenolic compounds and carotenoids. These ingredients are necessary for the proper functioning of the body they reduce the risk of chronic diseases and have a positive effect on the cardiovascular and digestive systems (C. Musara, E. B. Aladejan, S. M. Mudyiwa 2020).

3. The content of selected ingredients in 100 g of fruit (H. Kunachowicz et al., 2016):

energy 46 kcal protein 0.6 g, fats ?? 0.2 g. carbohydrates 11.2 g., dietary fiber 1.9 g. vitamin A 16 μg. vitamin C 30.8 mg. calcium 30 mg. potassium 189 mg. magnesium 17 mg. phosphorus 18 mg.

4. Mandarins and their use in the kitchen

Mandarins can be used in desserts, cakes, or even morning oatmeal. Depending on the ripeness of the fruit, they can be sweeter or softer. Including mandarins in a nutritious salad would also be a good idea.

5. Roasted oatmeal with mandarins and nuts

Preparation time: 40 minutes Ingredients (per 1 serving): oatmeal 5 tablespoons (50 g), egg art (50 g) milk 1⁄2 cup (120 ml), ?? mandarins artichoke (100 g), nuts 3 pieces (12 g), olive oil 1 1⁄2 spoon (2, 5 g), erythritol spoon (5 g), 1⁄2 cup for baking skins (2 g), cinnamon cups (2 g).

6. It's a raw chia pudding with a tangerine

Preparation time: 10 minutes + refrigerated storage time Ingredients (per 1 serving): chia seeds 2 teaspoons (16 g), natural yogurt serving (150 g) mandarin art (100 g), peanut butter teapot (10 g), peppermint spiced 1⁄2 teapots (2 g),?? cinnamon 1 1⁄2 teapples (2 g) and erythritol 5 g) Method of preparation1 Put the chia seed in the mixture, add the yogurt, rinse it thoroughly.

7. A salad with camembert cheese and a mandarin

Preparation time: 20 minutes Ingredients (per 1 serving): rucola 2 servings (40 g), cucumber 100 g, cocktail tomatoes a handful (100 g), camembert cheese 1⁄2 servings (60 g), mandarins 100, pumpkin seeds 5 g, olive oil spoonful (5 g), oregano oils sprouts (0, 2 g), salt spices (0, 2g), pumpkins roasted (0. 2 g).

Time of preparation: 60 minutes Ingredients (for 8 pieces): orchid flour glass (120 g), mandarins 2 pieces (200 g) yogurt skyr portion (100 g), egg art (50 g),?? baking powder 1⁄2 teaspoon (2 g),
