Interest in this alternative has increased significantly in recent years in Poland. In addition, restaurants are increasingly incorporating it among the ingredients of nutritious dishes. One such substitute may be jackfruit exotic fruit, which is a common and inexpensive food in India. The fruit is now available in many stores. Supporters of the vegetarian and vegan diet often look for products that will replace the taste of meat in their menu.

1. What's a jackfruit?

This evergreen plant, otherwise called the berry tree, belongs to the orange family. The breadfruit reaches a height of 1030 m, and its fruits are considered to be the largest in the world. The ripe jackfruits are dark yellow or light brown, and their hard skin is covered with stems. It is worth adding that it is edible in both barley and fruit buds.

It is comparable to peaches or mangoes. The immature, green jacuzzi has a neutral flavor, and its heat-treated rind is similar in consistency to chicken or pork. Like other fruits, the intensity of the flavor of jacuzzos depends on the degree of maturity. It is also said to resemble the combination of banana and pineapple. This is why it is increasingly used as a meat substitute.

The fruit is a valuable source of vitamins and minerals. It contains vitamins A, C, B1, B2, B3, B6, folic acid, magnesium, calcium, iron, and zinc. Because of its protein content and healthy fats, it is also valuable as fruit fats. The calorie content of green fruit is much lower and is about 30 kcal. The main difference is that it contains a large amount of potassium more than bananas, which are considered rich in this element. In addition, it also contains lignans, flavonoids, and carotenoids, which have a beneficial effect on health.

4. It's the use of the jackfruit

It is also used in jams, jellies, cocktails and baking cakes. In its dried form, it is suitable for homemade mussels, vegetables or granules. However, it should be emphasized that they require heat treatment. It is increasingly found in vegan burgers, kebabs, gulags. In addition, in its dry and melted form it is used to thicken soups and sauces.

Because of its high potassium content, jacafruit supports the circulatory system, contributes to lowering blood pressure, and prevents seizures. Studies show that flavonoids isolated from this breadfruit also exhibit anti-inflammatory properties inhibit the release of compounds that contribute to inflammatory processes in the body (S. Hsu, G. Fitoshi, anti-tumor compounds such as lignin, salicylic acid, and fructose) and also contribute to the development of anti-cancer and anti-fouling properties in the brain. It also has the potential to reduce the functioning of other neurotransmitters, such as carcinogens, carcinogenic fatty acids, asbestos, lipids, and lipids.

Method of preparation: 1. Glass the chopped onion and sliced garlic into a feather. 2. Soak for about 510 minutes. All the ingredients are soaked on a small fire for about 20 minutes.
