1. What do we need salt for?

Every day, we lose a lot of it in our stomach, urine, and feces, and too much of it has huge consequences. That's why the first fluid given to us in dehydration states, like the diarrhea, is NaCl, or physiological salt. Because of its proper concentration, our nerve impulses reach the brain, we breathe, and our muscles, including the heart, do their job properly.

2. Is salt a chemical or a natural product?

Unfortunately, this salt is refined, which means it's a purified chemical product, made up of only two elements: sodium and chlorine. When we talk about salt, most of us think of it as being sold in kilograms, whether it be granular or kitchen or vegetable.

3. Salt doesn't have a name

In addition to sodium chloride, it contains 84 elements, including the most important micronutrients: magnesium, iron, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, selenium, the presence of which gives it its medicinal properties. For comparison, the sodium content in 1 g of individual salts is: kitchen salt 1 g = 390 mg of sodium;

4. The properties of Himalayan salt

Selenium is an anti-cancer antioxidant. Iodine used to synthesize thyroid hormones speeds up metabolism. They all work together to detoxify the body, eliminating heavy metals both when consumed in food and when used outdoors as peels and baths. Due to its low sodium content, this salt regulates blood pressure. Sulphur cleanses the skin and helps treat acne. Calcium and phosphorus build up bone and teeth. In throat inflammation, you can make saturated metals, then dissolve a spoonful of such a solution in cold water and wash it.
