Or is this a new dietary myth? Is it true? There are more and more gluten-free products on the shelves, and the news you can find on the Internet suggests that dieting without gluten is a magical way to stay healthy and get rid of unnecessary pounds.

1. What is a gluten-free diet?

Gluten is a mixture of plant proteins gliadin and gluten. Oatmeal should also be eliminated from the gluten-free diet due to possible contamination of grains in the production process.
