However, many people may link gluten consumption to obesity mainly because it is present in white bread, sweet breads and yeasts, which contain high levels of sugar and fat, which in turn are responsible for weight gain.

A gluten free diet is considered an elimination diet. In order to minimize the negative effects of a glutathione diet, it's necessary to replace foods made from cane or other cereals, such as rice, corn and non-gluten-containing beans that contain gluten.
