Fruits and vegetables are a source of vitamins and minerals, as well as providing the body with fiber and bioactive substances.

Table of Contents

1. Fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals

It is important, however, to maintain a proper proportion of fresh vegetables and fruits. If we eat the right proportion, for example, in green apples. The right proportion is just 3⁄4 of green peppers, 1⁄4 of fruit. What are they made of? Carbohydrates are mainly found in fruits, they are mostly simple sugars fructose. Vegetables contain smaller amounts of carbohydrate, so they have more fiber than fruits. They are relatively low in fresh apples, e.g. if we eat green pepper, the right amount of sugar is just 3/4 of the fruit.

2. The seeds of the onion plant

Dry seeds of pulp plants are soybeans, lentils, peas, beans. They are their main ingredient, with a carbohydrate content of up to 60%. Their fat content is low (the exception is soy). However, their absorption is limited by the presence of fiber and phythenians. Due to their richness in ingredients, pulp seeds should be found in the daily diet. They have become a separate group of vegetables and are a source of valuable plant protein, which due to their amino acid content can partially replace animal protein sources in the diet.
