I can't carve my muscles, I just lose weight

Often, instead of losing fat and expanding our muscles during the sculpting period, we literally lose weight in the eyes, which is not the expected effect, and many people sooner or later start to think about how to carve their bodies and not lose their hard-working muscle mass.

Table of Contents

1. Put it on intervals

Interval training is a much more difficult method, and because of the maximum intensity of work, it requires some experience and familiarity with the body. If you include it in a weekly program, you should give up part of the oxygen training. All you need to do is change cardio to interval training every now and then, and vice versa. Interval exercise is the perfect solution when it comes to fat burning and muscle development. When doing interval training, we should always exercise with particular caution. We don't do three aerobic exercises a week and that much interval exercise because it will result in disruption of the regeneration processes and loss of muscle mass. This will provide an additional boost to the body's fat-burning tissues and maximizes the natural fat metabolism of the body during the week.

2. Don't forget about the food

A drastic decrease in calories consumed leads to rapid loss of muscle tissue and a slowdown in fat metabolism. Yes, everyone is different, and what works for one person is not necessarily a good choice for another. Some athletes during the sculpture period consume no more than 1,800 calories a day, and it happens to be less. The body starts defending itself against hunger and tries to store everything in the form of fat tissue, and that's not the goal of trainers.

3. Don't give up your typical strength training

It's probably based on an average or low number of repetitions and weights in the range of 70~90% CM. If you don't do these exercises, you're depriving your body of the main stimulus for growth. You start treating your muscles as something unnecessary, something that absorbs excess energy, and if you do, you should get rid of it.
