Unfortunately, cardiovascular disease continues to be the leading cause of death. According to the Polish Cardiological Society, eliminating the risk factors for heart disease could prevent more than 80% of cases of heart disease.

1. Heart-friendly food for who?

A heart-supporting diet is recommended for everyone, especially those at high risk with lipid profile disorders, hypertension, type 2 diabetes.

2. Nutrition is the basis of prevention

Diet influences the most important risk factors for heart disease body weight, blood pressure, blood glucose and lipid profile.

3. Replacement of saturated fatty acids with polyunsaturated fatty acid

Today, it is suspected that this component of the diet has a negative effect on the lipid profile, including LDL cholesterol levels. The products that are particularly rich in these compounds include: fatty meats, sweets, jars, snacks, fast food, fatty cheeses. These are found in hard bone margars and baked goods. Break the routine. It is not necessary to completely eliminate vegetables or cheeses, but to choose those with a lower fat content than animal fatty foods. Beneficial effects are also key to reducing the amount of fatty acids in fish as a source of non-fatty omega fats compared to products made from vegetable fats or vegetable oils.

4. Increased fiber intake

A few simple tips: bake white instead of whole grain or graham, eat 5 servings of vegetables a day, ?? eat at least 3 times a week grilled cheese, bubble cheese, brown rice include cereal flakes such as oats, raisins, strawberries in your diet.

5. Inclusion of nuts in the diet

A rational diet should be based on the following product groups: Whole grain products, lean poultry, ?? fish and lean meat, nuts and pulses, vegetables and fruits,?? vegetable oils. It delivers the necessary amount of vitamins and minerals and at the same time does not provide too many kilocalories. Processed products are high in calories but do not provide valuable nutrients. The nutritional value table shows the actual content of the added sodium and sugars in the product. One of the traps for the beverage, not the fruit juice in particular, is sugar. In general, despite the fact that the ingredients and nutrients in the diet are still relevant, it will be easy to extract the nutrients from the nutrient sources mentioned above, even in the context of a healthy diet.

6. It's physical activity

How should we exercise? In order to increase the effect, it is recommended that active nicotine use is significantly increased to 300 minutes per week. In the right kind of activity it is advisable to follow your preferences and real possibilities. The best documented health effects are that of oxygen exertion (e.g. fast walking, swimming, jogging, cycling). Active nicotine consumption significantly increases the risk of heart disease. However, avoiding moderate burning should also be avoided. Stopping smoking in a short period of time only increases some of its adverse effects.
