How many calories does rice have?

This product is so versatile that it can be served either sweet or salty, cold or hot. There are many varieties available on the market, and each varies slightly in nutrients or fiber content. Rice is one of the most popular food additives, and not only in Asian countries.

Table of Contents

1. The nutritional value

The exception is zinc, which is slightly more abundant in white rice than in red, brown or black rice. The lightest is white rice (fibre content is 2.4 g/100 g and fat content 0.7 g/100g), but contains less potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, vitamin B and vitamin E. The content of macronutrients, fiber, mineral ingredients and vitamins will depend on the type of rice selected.

2. What kind of rice to choose

People who have been diagnosed with unhealthy bowel disease and who are at an advanced stage, as well as those who struggle with ulcers, should avoid high-residue foods. Healthy or diabetic people should prefer brown, red or black rice, as these varieties are a source of dietary fiber that increases intestinal peristalsis and does not contribute to high blood sugar. The answer to this question is not simple. It can exacerbate unpleasant symptoms and deepen the inflammatory process.
