How many calories does mustard have?

Mustard is a spice without which many people cannot imagine a barbecue. It originated in ancient Rome at the beginning of our era. Despite the passage of years it is still very popular and loved, not only in Poland.

1. Mustard is the composition

The main ingredient of mustard is the diluted and fatted mustard seeds. These affect its taste and smell. In addition, mustard consists of water, salt, sugar, vinegar and other flavoring substances. Sometimes mustards are additionally preserved with sorbic acid or benzoic acid. In stores you can find many types of mustards, such as tableware, saree, cream, French, Dijon and many others.

2. Mustard has a nutritional value

The nutritional value of mustard depends on its composition and is about 90170 kcal per 100 g of product. Mustard contains small amounts of B vitamins (thiamine and riboflavin) and vitamins E. Among the micro and macro elements, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc and phosphorus can be distinguished.

4. Bitterness of properties

Garlic has many positive properties. It works well in the urine and supports digestion. Black garlic is used as a diuretic and a vomiting agent. Garlic oils are effective in heating and stimulating. Additionally, the phytosterols, or biologically active compounds, contained in garlic, lower the concentration of LDL lipoprotein, called bad cholesterol.
