How many calories does kebab have?

Unfortunately, this is often done at the expense of the quality of the ingredients used. Sometimes full-fat and salted fries are also included. Kebab is an original Turkish dish consisting of meat, vegetable salad, sauces and pastries. The cheapest types of meat and vegetables, palm oil-based sauces, and refined flour buns are used in the sidewalk pots. It is necessary to consider whether such a dish can have any nutritional value.

1. The nutritional value

2. It's the soup

It has also been shown to contribute to the development of cancers (stomach cancer).

3. It's the fat

Additionally, sauces contain oils, such as palm oil, which is considered one of the least healthy. This Turkish dish contains a lot of fat (over 40%), which can have a negative effect on the body. Saturated fatty acids negatively affect the cardiovascular system and can contribute to the development of cancers such as colon cancer.

4. Highly processed meat

They contain a lot of salt and saturated fats. A study published in Revue Scientifique et Technique in 2018 showed that red high-processed meat contributes to the development of cancers and increases mortality. However, it should be emphasized that in most cases they are mixtures of the worst quality meat, in addition to pre-treated meat, that are heated on the spot. They are often found in flavor enhancers and preservatives.

5. This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union

Such food can be considered a good source of vitamins and essential elements provided that other additives are also of good quality. Vegetarian and vegan versions of kebabs have also appeared on the market.

6. A little practice

It is therefore worth taking some free time and preparing similar dishes yourself.
