We all accept the taste of sweetness to a greater or lesser extent, and it's no wonder that since we were born, our food preferences have been naturally directed toward sweetness. Our acceptance of sweet taste is often used by manufacturers of high-energy products. That's why there's a wide selection of sweet snacks and desserts available on the market.

1. Natural ice cream

In contrast, ice cream owners often offer ice cream with a high sugar content and its substitutes (mainly glucose and fructose syrup), artificial dyes or emulsifiers. Rarely instead of creams, manufacturers add a significant amount of water to ice cream. In the case of flavor ice cream instead of natural and fresh fruit, flavor pastes or flavours are used, as well as ready-made formulations.

2. Nutritional and health values of ice cream

However, compared to other snacks and sweets in this group, ice cream has a relatively low energy value. Among the different types of ice cream (natural, sorbet, easy water, yogurt) sorbet are the least calorific. More than 60% of them are made up of water, which makes them very nutritious. However, in comparison with other snack foods and sweeteners in this ice cream group we have a comparatively low energy content. Of the different kinds of ice-cream (nature, soft water and yogurt), sorbet is the least caloric. Over 60% consists of water and therefore contains a very high amount of nutrients, which also means that you have a lot of calories in your body.

3. A healthier version of traditional ice cream

As we already know, real natural ice cream should be made from cream, milk, eggs, and possibly fresh fruit additives. So it's worth checking the composition of ice cream and choosing the ones with the shortest list of ingredients, proving that we're not dealing with a high-processed product. Given the growing emphasis on product composition and quality among consumers, food manufacturers are meeting the requirements and enrich frozen desserts, for example, in probiotic bacteria that have a beneficial effect on our microflora.

4. Strawberry and banana ice cream

Ingredients: strawberries about. 200 g, bananas about. 60 g, Greek yogurt about 200 g. How to prepare: With straws we remove the spoons and then wash them. We pick the bananas and cut them into patches. We blend the fruit to get a smooth mass, then we pour the yogurt and mix it all together.

5. Vegetarian ice cream with peanut butter

Ingredients: 120 g banana, 50 g coconut butter, 115 g cocoa milk, 20 g xylitol. How to make bananas: We take the bananas, cut them into pieces, put them in a bowl, and blend them into a smooth mass. Then we add cocoa butter, well-cooled coconuts and xyliteol. We blend everything thoroughly until the ingredients are combined. We transfer the resulting mass into an ice pack and freeze it to cool.
