How many calories does a loaf have?

Breads are the most popular type of bakery in Poland, available in large supermarkets, neighborhood shops and, of course, bakeries, but which ones are most valuable and what to suggest when shopping?

Table of Contents

1. The nutritional value

It is worth noting that the nutritional value will depend on the type of flour used to make the bread. Wheat flour will have a lower caloric and mineral content than whole-grain flour. The fiber content will be significantly higher in a full-wheat cereal flour bakery. In dark flour you can find many more vitamins mainly from group B and elements such as calcium, magnesium, iron or zinc. Nutritional content in 100 g of the product (grain powder): Calories: 262 kcal, protein: 9 g, magnesium fats: 1, 7 g, manganese: 1 g, 56 g, 1 mg, magnesium foil: 2, 7 mg, phosphorus: 4, 8 mg, nitrogen: 4, 7 mg: 0, 8 mg: 2, 8 mg; magnesium: 4, 4 mg: 4, 5 mg: 6, 7 mg; phosphorous: 2, 2 mg: 3, 4 mg; nitrogen: 2, 4 mg 4, 4, 8

2. Wheat or whole grain?

Commercial companies are turning away from the different types of bread - wheat, rye, gluten-free, cereal, dried fruit, and oatmeal - because it raises blood glucose levels. Consuming each of these is thought to have certain benefits. Wheat flour contains a minimum amount of dietary fiber, so it is easy to digest and can be recommended to people with, for example, wounds. On the other hand, the same flour will be a product that is not recommended for diabetics because it increases blood sugar levels.

3. Gluten

People with celiac disease or gluten intolerance should pay attention to the type of flour used to bake bread and the place where it was made and sold. Gluten-free bread should be baked in a specially prepared bakery where it will not come into contact with even the minimum amount of flours with gluten. It must not be placed on shelves next to wheat or rye bread. Naturally gluten-free flours include corn flour, hot flour or jaglan flour.

4. It's roasted deep frozen

In supermarkets, the smell of freshly baked pastries is a special marketing tactic designed to encourage people to buy cakes or sweet yeasts.

5. Applications

For example, in Spain, a refrigerator called gazpacho is prepared, which is condensed by a red baking powder. Considering that bread is an easily available product, it is worth choosing one that can help to improve the condition and functioning of our bodies. One loaf of wheat (60 g) = 178 kcal1 graham flour (70g) = 176 kcal 1 flour of corn with grains (80 g)= 251 kcal.
