How many calories a cucumber has a valuable source of water

The cucumber is a vegetable consumed all year round, both fresh and in the form of pickles. It is mainly used as an ingredient in salads and raw materials, enriching dishes with a refreshing and delicate flavor.

1. The nutritional value is gone

The nutritional value of 100 g of cucumber is as follows: energy value: 14 kcal, protein: 0.7 g; fat: 0.1 g;

2. Vitamins and minerals found in cucumbers

The cucumber contains negligible amounts of regulatory components, such as potassium, calcium, sodium, iodine, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, vitamin C, folic acid, vitamin K, or pro-vitamin A.

3. A precious source of water

The cucumber has a very high water content, which makes up almost 95% of the mass of this vegetable. It is a great choice on hot days when the demand for liquids increases significantly. Water is a basic ingredient necessary for life, but very often we forget to provide it in adequate quantities. Water participates in many reactions that take place in the human body, e.g.: carries regulators, nutrients and other important substances throughout the body; regulates body temperature, removes metabolites and toxic compounds.

The most well-known probiotic strains are bacteria belonging to the family of Lactobacillus. These valuable microorganisms act similarly to antibiotics and destroy pathogenic bacteria. They strengthen the immune system, thus improving the overall immunity of the organism. They also provide a food colony, which supports its function. They prevent oxygenation, suppress acidity, and.. they can cause a significant increase in the amount of oxygen in the blood of a person with low blood sugar. They can also cause a buildup of acid in the stomach.
