It is just as hard to refuse another meal that's been specially prepared for that particular evening. But that doesn't mean you have to eat everything in huge quantities. But it's worth convincing your loved ones that proper nutrition is important for you. Instead of eating your first meal, you should eat less and try other delicacies. So you won't have to refuse your next meal. Of course, if you need to, you can give up a salad or another piece of cake.

2. Let's not hurry and eat slowly

During the holiday season, the frequency of the meals served can be compared to a big wedding. The hosts are willing to serve another meal because they have prepared it especially for the whole family that evening. On the one hand, it is nice, but on the other hand it is dangerous this way you can very easily lead to overeating. Each meal has to be eaten slowly and thoroughly chewed. If the food is eaten in a hurry, large cheeses are swallowed up, which then get into the stomach and fill it up significantly. The more crushed the food, the better the digestion and so you can try a larger number of meals.

3. Let's not forget about the fluids

The role of liquids in the diet is extremely important. Even young children are advised to drink a meal with warm tea or water. Drinks allow for more efficient changes in the structure of the food consumed, which also makes it easier for the digestive system to function. So during the Christmas season we should pay more attention to proper hydration. Instead of colorful and sweet soda drinks, it is better to choose more natural options. We are talking about tea or mineral water first of all.

4. Let's keep moving!

Christmas is associated primarily with rest, although it is often preceded by a mass of exhausting preparations. There is a belief that since it is a time off from work and school, all activity should be restricted. During this time many people lie in front of the television or sit at the computer and eat huge amounts of food. It should be remembered that the main ally of the body is primarily movement. It is not a marathon or a gym workout that takes more than two hours.
