1. Helicobacter pylori General information

According to the World Health Organization, Helicobacter pylori is recognized as a bacterial carcinogen in countries such as Africa, South America and some parts of Asia and affects almost 100% of the population at that time. Unfortunately, Poland is among the countries with the lowest socioeconomic status. Bacteria spread, among others, through secretions (seeds, vomiting). It is estimated that the problem of infection is mainly present in countries like Africa, Latin America, and some areas of Asia, and it affects nearly 100% of population at the time. Sadly, Poland ranks first among European countries where the infection rate is high.

2. Infection with Helicobacter pylori risk factors for infection

In their study, Ostrowski et al. did not show a significant relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection and cigarette smoking or alcohol consumption. Mhaskar et al., 2013). U.S. researchers showed a link between the consumption of salted and preserved fish and meat products and Helicobacteria pylori.

3. The use of probiotics in the treatment of infection

It has been observed that regular consumption of probiotic-rich products reduces the frequency of adverse reactions associated with therapy. Such antibacterial activity has been shown, among others, in the case of Sacharomyces boulardii and Lactobacillus GG.
