The fruit is similar in shape to peas or apples, but unfortunately it is not suitable for raw consumption due to its bitter taste, acidity and too hard texture. However, it is often used to prepare various preparations, including jams, liqueurs, compotes and pastries.

1. Description of the common pig

Pigwa is a plant belonging to the pink family. It comes mainly from the regions of Asia, it has been brought to Europe. It is currently also grown in Poland. The fruit of pigweed grows on large shrubs growing to a height of about 5 meters, while in Poland it reaches a maximum of 3 meters in height. The leaves of the common fig are oval and shiny, but the flowers grow singly and are most often white or pale pink in color.

2. The nutritional values of pigs

100 g of raw pigmeat contains about 57 kcal, 0.4 g of protein, 0.1 g of fat, 15.3 g of carbohydrates and 1.9 g of fiber. Particular attention should also be paid to the vitamins and minerals found in pigmeats, including: Vitamin C 15 mg, vitamin B1 0.02 mg, B2 0,03 mg, b3 0,2 mg, c6 0,0 04 mg, folic acid 3 μg, 40 IU of vitamin A, 11 IU of amino acids, 7 IU of calcium, 7 mg of magnesium, 8 mg of phosphorus, 17 mg of chlorophyll, 4 mg of zinc, and some of the other ingredients in the product are not mentioned in this list.

3. The medicinal properties of pigmeat

Unfortunately, pigweed is still a very underappreciated plant and few people know that its fruits contain a number of chemicals, minerals and vitamins, which have beneficial effects on the human body, including: they have a positive effect on the digestive system, but are now gaining great popularity in Europe. They are also a decoration in gardens, salads, parks. ∙ they also speed up the metabolism of substances and stimulate the digestion process, which is recommended by their families to treat people who are struggling to lose weight and fat, and they can be used as dietary supplements in healthy fruits and vegetables.

4. The cultivation and care of the common pig

The common fig is not a demanding plant, but it is best grown in warm, moist, moderately moist soil with a slightly acidic pH. The plant is quite resistant to drought, but poorly tolerates low temperatures. Common fig is best planted in autumn in well-sunned places and then watered with plenty of water. The fig tree is best fertilized with well-developed compost.

5. It's a prescription for a piggy bank

The ingredients: 2 kg of pig, 1 kg of sugar, ?? 0.7 l of spirits, 0.5 l of water. The best way to prepare pig is to wash and dry it thoroughly, rub it with a skin with thick eyelids, add a long period of waxing and soaking, keep the sugar in your mouth and process the juice for a week to a week. 0.7 liters of spirit to a minimum of a week, and 0.5 litres of water to a maximum of 30 months.
