One of the most important elements is the nutritional value of all lean meat (poultry, turkey or veal), dairy and dairy products, fish and seafood. This should prevent excessive weight loss, which could lead to disruption in the synthesis of thyroid hormones. There are also recommendations which say that protein intake should be as low as 25%.
