This compound is a tripeptide consisting of amino acid residues such as cysteine, glycine, or glutamic acid. Glutathione is present in most food products that are available in stores. However, its greatest content is found in fruits and vegetables.

The risk of glutathione deficiency is real and at the same time very rare due to the prevalence of this substance in many food products. In the medical literature, there are numerous studies confirming the use of glutamate in the treatment of cancer.
