However, it should be remembered that there is no legal regulation on this type of food, so its use will not always guarantee a better health status. It is also best to check whether the ingredient actually has a significant health impact. Although functional foods can also be a great addition, they will never replace basic healthy lifestyles. According to the definition, dietary products must have a strong effect on health, whether they work regularly or not, and therefore, if they are incorporated into a healthy diet, they can be well-defined as protective against all forms of physical illness.
