Fracture of the ribs causes, symptoms and treatment
Table of Contents
1. Causes of fractured ribs
Equally popular are the so-called compression fractures, which result from too much pressure on bone structures, such as severe coughing or sneezing, resulting in a pathological bending of the ribs on the outer edge. An equally common cause of mechanical damage to the rib is, for example, a heart massage. Another example of the causes of rib fractures are intermediate mechanisms that result from excessive work of the respiratory muscles. An example may be a strong cough or tickling, which uncontrollably causes the rib to crack and the abnormal condition of the thoracic cavity.2. Symptoms and consequences
The reduction in range of motion is also the result of painful disorders. This syndrome differs from the disease of the same name, and its mechanism is the development of a blood clot within the mucous membranes and the skin. Perthes' syndrome can very often cause numerous neurological complications (e.g. stroke or rash) or changes within the eye organ (i.e. retinal detachment). Injury simultaneously reduces the mobility of a fragment of the rib cage, resulting in damage to the ribcage. In the case of compression of the anterior cruciate ligament, Perth's syndrome occurs.
