Poland is one of the largest exporters of strawberries in Europe. These sweet red fruits are not only famous for their richness in vitamins and minerals, but also for their low calorie content.

1. Who's the one with the crumbs?

They are recommended for people who are obese and patients in cardiology departments. Positive aspects of eating these fruits have been observed in people with neurodegenerative diseases. Strawberries due to their low glycemic index (GI < 50) can be found in the diet of people with diabetes and insulin resistance.

An analysis conducted in 2019 suggests that eating strawberries may contribute to improving treatment outcomes for coronary artery disease. Other studies confirm that the compounds in straws affect lipid metabolism (reduce triglycerides and LDL cholesterol) and enhance antioxidant activity in patients with liver cancer, improving their prognosis.
