Casein properties, uses and contraindications

Nowadays, more and more people avoid milk and milk products because of poor lactose tolerance for milk sugar. Why is it worthwhile to seek it? According to healthy dietary guidelines, it is recommended to drink 2 glasses of milk a day, one of which can be replaced with dairy products such as fermented dairy drinks such as kefir, yogurt and cheese. At the same time, protein nutrients, including cow's milk protein, or casein, are gaining popularity.

Table of Contents

1. What's the case?

Milk contains about 3.4% protein on average. It is composed of five amino acids which are linked to each other by a fatty acid bond: alpha-casein (fractions αs1-casein and αs2-casein), beta-casine, gamma-casene, ?? kappa-kasene. To understand the role of casein in the body itself, attention should be paid to the importance of protein in the daily diet of humans. It consists of five types of amino acid, which are bound together by a human fatty protein bond. The amino actors dependent on the body are essential for the functioning of the body.

2. Casein has properties

Along with calcium, they are involved in the regulation of the process of bone mineralization. Casein has a number of positive properties for the human body. In addition, it has anticancer and antibacterial properties. It acts as a carrier of calcium and other microelements. It increases energy expenditure by stimulating the body's thermogenesis processes. It has been scientifically proven that a diet high in protein can have a beneficial effect on body composition by helping to lose fat and maintain a steady level of body fat or increase it.

3. In the case of the 'extra_id_0' case, the 'extra_id' case shall be the same as in the case for the 'Extra_ed_1' case

Dr. Heather J. Research shows that people who are lightly overweight and eat a high-protein diet, including casein or whey, are more likely to lose excess fat. Leidy, an adjunct professor in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at the University of Missouri, confirms that casein increases feelings of satiety because eating a protein-rich meal inhibits the activity of the areas of the brain that are responsible for appetite.

4. In the case of the 'extra_id_0' case, the 'extra_id' case shall be the same as in the case for the 'Extra_ed_1' case

It has coagulation properties, which make it an insoluble substance that is easily absorbed for up to 8 hours. It eliminates the need to eat between meals. It therefore supports the synthesis of muscle proteins throughout the night. It works by modulating a specialized GABAA receptor located in the subcutaneous tissue. Therefore, casein may be useful in the treatment of sleep disorders. It is not soluble in the acidic environment that exists in the stomach. Due to the slow absorption of cartilage in the digestive tract, it is recommended for individuals who consume little alpha-amines at longer intervals of time.

5. Use of casein

Protein supplements, including casein protein (calcium casein or mycellar casein), are becoming increasingly popular. Casein supplementation is mainly used in the diet of athletes and active people, although it is also frequently sought by those who want to lose weight. Consuming less protein than recommended doses can cause muscle breakdown.

6. Casein is harmful

The disadvantage of casein is that it makes it harder to absorb iron, but that's not true.

7. In the case of the 'extra_id_0' case, the 'extra_id' case shall be the same as in the case for the 'Extra_ed_1' case

But it's not always her fault. Caffeine can cause abdominal pain and other adverse gastrointestinal symptoms. It's the sugar in milk lactose that's to blame. Very often, this is a casein allergy. Many people don't consume milk and dairy products because they experience side effects from the digestive system after consuming them.

8. The dose of caffeine

On training days, it is recommended to consume one serving in the morning after waking up, a second serving 1.5 hours after training and a third serving before bedtime.

9. It's a case of counter-indications

Caffeine should not be used by people who are allergic to cow's milk and pregnant women.
