Can a diet be helpful in migraines?

Headaches, especially migraine pain, are ailments that significantly affect quality of life. Migraine is a seizure-like, spontaneous headache that greatly impairs family, social and professional functioning.

1. What is a migraine?

Migraine is a neurological disease characterized by the occurrence of headache attacks with varying frequency and intensity. However, the majority of people do not receive regular medical attention, which affects their quality of life. The most characteristic symptoms of migraine attacks can last from a few hours to several days. This disorder is three times more common in women than in men. The first migraine attack usually occurs before the age of 30. However, migraine in Poland affects nearly 10% of the population, but most people don't get regular medical care, which impacts their life quality.

2. Factors that trigger a migraine attack

Migraines can be caused by the following factors: food, drinks, medicines, ?? stress and rest time after stress, e.g. on weekends, ∙ hormonal changes, such as during menstruation, ̇ lack of or excess sleep, ̊ cosmetics, ̨ extreme weather and altitude changes, like staying in the mountains, ‬ fasting, 📅 physical activity, † hunger, • light.

3. Diet in migraine

In addition to pharmacology, a properly composed and rational diet is an important part of therapy and prevention.

4. Products to relieve migraine symptoms

Migraine relief products and ingredients include: ginger, cayenne pepper, chili peppers, poultry meat, eggs, seafood, fish, e.g. cod, salmon, omega-3 fatty acids and their proper relationship to omega-6 fatty acid, water, non-alcoholic beverages and herbal teas.

5. Products that aggravate migraine symptoms

In addition to chocolate, cocoa, yeast and yeast extracts, e.g. fresh yeast yeast, coffee, tea, energy drinks, cereal, most serious maturing and moulded foods, but also milk, soy sauce, soya beans, fattening alcohol, canola oil, the most important nutrients present in human stomachs, as well as beer, vodka, cappuccino, dark yeast may also increase the effectiveness of dietary and nutritional requirements, e., fresh yeasts, beverages, cranberries, citrus fruits, cider vinegar, cinder vinegar and other cereal products, but the reduction of the amount of calcium in cereal crops, citric acid in cereals, citroline and other crops may also lead to prolonged excretion of fat in the stomach, stomach and intestines, etc. This can also be caused by the excretability of digestive organs, such as vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin C and vitamin D.
