There are a number of varieties available on the market, such as garlic, yogurt, barley, and couscous, but also a variety of bulgur, a whole grain variety from the Middle East, which has many health benefits and should therefore be included in your daily diet.

It is characterized by a high degree of glare and hardness and a high content of protein, gluten and yellow pigments (J. Lesniowska-Nowak et al. 2020). Initially popular in Turkey and the Middle East, it is now used in many countries, including Poland (Z. Tacer Caba, M. H. Boyacioglu, D. Boyatioglu 2012).

2. The nutritional value of bulgur

Bulgur is widely considered a healthy product. It is not surprising because it contains many ingredients that have a positive effect on the human body. These include: B vitamins, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium or selenium. Bulgur also contains high amounts of dietary fiber and is a source of phenolic compounds and antioxidants (Z. Tacer Caba, M. H. Boyacioglu, D. Boyaciooglu 2012).

Time of preparation: 25 minutes Ingredients (per 1 serving): cashews of bulgur 1⁄2 bag (50 g), cheese of fat 2 patches (30 g), dried tomatoes in oil 4 pieces (28 g), pumpkin seeds a spoon (10 g), cloves handful (20 g), salt spikes (0.2 g), pepper sprouts (0.2g).

7. Salad with cassava, tuna and corn

Preparation time: 20 minutes Ingredients (per 1 serving): cashews of bulgur 1⁄2 bag (50 g), tuna in one's own sauce 1 1⁄2 cans (60 g); canned maize 3 tablespoons (45 g), cottonseed tomatoes a handful (100 g), fresh cucumbers 50 g), spices spoon (5 g), salt spices (0.2 g), pepper peppers (0.2g).

8. Casotto with tofu and vegetables

Time of preparation: 20 minutes Ingredients (per 1 serving): bowl of bulgur 1⁄2 bag (50 g), tofu 1 1⁄2 cubes (90 g) onion plaster (15 g), garlic teeth (5 g), olive oil 2 tablespoons (10 g), spinach two pieces (50g), red pepper 1/2 pieces (75 g), peppermint teaspoon (6 g), chili pepper (0.2 g), salt 0.2 g). Preparation method1. add bulgur to the cooking instruction at the end of the packaging.
