This compound is a very powerful antioxidant, 25 times stronger than vitamin E and 100 times more powerful than vitamin C. Japanese tea is also a source of another important caffeine compound. The content of this stimulant in the dried leaves is up to twice that of coffee seeds.

The effects of green tea on the body cannot be ignored. Its consumption is very beneficial and is associated with: stimulating, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimalarial, anticancer, antiaging and anti-neurodegenerative. Japanese tea is used in medicine. Due to its highly stimulatory composition and numerous reducing properties, it is used for obesity problems. Studies show that consumption of the extract from green tea increases the average level of fat burning in the body by 17%.

4. Supplementary instructions

The secret to green tea's effectiveness is its proper preparation. Approximately 1 teaspoon of the product should be used per glass of water. The brewing temperature is related to the type of green tea, but is usually between 80 and 90°C. The storage time of the tea should be between 2 and 4 minutes at most. Some high-quality leaves can be stored two or even three times. Supplementation depends on the purpose. If we want to burn fat, the main goal is to provide 400 to 500 mg of EGCG per day, which have reducing properties.
