1. A few words about aloe vera and its composition
Aloe vera is a plant that has been cultivated for millennia and is native to Africa. It belongs to a group of succulents water-resistant plants. Its popularity is due to its versatility of health properties and low toxicity compared to other herbal preparations. It is also worth noting the abundance of nutrients that make up ordinary aloe. Among the more than 140 biologically active compounds, it is worth mentioning e.g. calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, B vitamins, folic acid, vitamin A and C, linoleic acid, and endocrine amino acids.2. In biblical times, ordinary aloe was used to preserve and embalm dead bodies. However, today it has many more uses. It is primarily an herbal raw material for the production of aloe oil, which has a moisturizing and regenerative effect. This product is used in hair care cosmetics, as well as on the skin for nutritional purposes e.g. after sunburn or dehydration.3. It's in the works
The anti-healthy nature of aloe juice is determined by its effect on the body. Among the main effects are: - analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects, - relief of irritation and normalization of the digestive tract, - acceleration of intestinal peristalsis, - reduction of sugar levels, - stimulation of the human immune system, - regeneration and moisturization of damaged skin.4. Supplementation
At present, there is no clear information on the correct amount of conventional aloe vera supplementation. in the only human studies, 300 mg was administered twice daily. the dosage should be primarily dependent on the target to be achieved. the experiment in animals given 100 mg/ kg body weight led to adverse reactions.
