A carnivorous diet or a meat-based diet can be beneficial to health

One extreme example of this is the carnivorous diet, otherwise known as the meat-eating diet. Every year, many new diets and diets are created to improve health and reduce weight. Can such a dietary model actually prove its health benefits? Although vegetarian diets have become increasingly popular in recent years, there is no shortage of supporters of animal-based diets as well.

1. The carnival diet is the main premise

The Carniove Diet, in which he describes the positive impact of his own diet on human health. In the assumptions of the diet, he excludes all carbohydrates and lists only meat among the permitted foods, occasionally stuffed in small quantities, eggs, butter, butter and cream, and recommends drinking water and bone meal. In 2019, he published a book entitled The author also presents his own history of diet and shows how much it helped him to consume only animal products for 2.5 years.

2. The benefits of diet, according to the author

According to Dr. Baker, the carnivore diet can therefore be summarized as ideal for everything (Sh. The theory is based mainly on the cases of its patients rather than the available scientific studies. Among the benefits of this way of eating, the author cites, among others, faster weight loss and improved functioning of the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, nervous, immune, nutritional, or hormonal systems. Baker 2019). It is therefore worthwhile to look at the impact of this diet on human health based on available medical knowledge and verify the validity of such a diet.

3. High intake of red meat and cancers

This type of food is rich in saturated fatty acids, protein, and cholesterol, and contains no fiber, as well as too many minerals and vitamins. Farvid et al. 2021). Although scientists do not rely on a meat-only dietary model, there has been a lot of evidence to confirm the negative impact of over-consumption of animal products on human health. According to a meta-analysis of 148 studies published in 2021, high consumption of red meat (beef, pork, lamb, goat, chicken, veal, horse, or jaggery) and processed products based on corn-based diets can increase significantly with the advent of new research, including deep-fried rice, endometrium, and bacteria.

8. Excess protein in the diet and its effects

Increased intake of this macronutrient is thought to contribute to increased muscle synthesis in the body, but it has not been observed to increase in proportion to the amount of protein in the diet at some stage, and no further benefits are observed. However, due to the high fat content in this diet which is not likely to achieve a healthy function, it is difficult to determine whether the increased diet of these animals can provide protein in a healthy way, but even in the case of patients suffering from type 2 diabetes, the effects of this protein on the body and body weight of a healthy diet are not as frequently observed in the study.

9. Lack of vitamins and minerals

In fact, at the beginning, body weight decreases significantly and quickly, but this is mainly due to the loss of water from the body. Tettamanzi et al. 2021). Of course, this is not a rule, but without developing proper dietary habits and without education in this direction, it is really difficult to talk about a lasting change. In this type of limitation, the so-called yo-yo effect is very often observed.

11. The benefits of a meat-eating diet

Benefits can be sought from other types of nutrition, such as the ketogenic diet, the Duncan diet, or the Paleo diet. On the basis of the above-mentioned specific models, however, it can be assumed that by relying on high-protein diets (and thus giving up sugars) it improves glycaemic control and tissue sensitivity to insulin, which could help treat insulin resistance or even prevent type 2 diabetes (T.P.).
