5 products which promote the body's irrigation

Water is an essential ingredient in every organism's life. Supplying fluids as needed is a prerequisite for the proper course of life processes. Unfortunately, often enough fluids are consumed during the day, which leads to poor well-being. So how do we ensure that the body is properly hydrated? Is hydration just drinking the right amount of water?

1. Why is hydration so important?

In the process of digestion and absorption of nutrients, it regulates body temperature, is responsible for maintaining water-electrolyte balance, enables proper excretion and elimination of toxins, and supports the functioning of muscles and joints. However, in newborns, the water content in the body changes with age. In young adults, it is about 75% of the body weight, in young adults it is 607%, while in older adults, only 455%. The most obvious symptom of water deprivation during pregnancy is tenderness, it can also cause symptoms of headache, general headaches, and fluids.

Water can be found in many food products, especially vegetables and fruits. Its sources are also milk and dairy drinks. In addition, the level of fluid can also be supplemented with various soups. These are high-water products that are worth reaching for to hydrate the body.

3. Freshwater turtles

This large fruit can be an ally in hot weather. It is composed of 92% water, so it quenches thirst and refreshes well, and it also provides vitamins (e.g. C and A) and mineral components (including potassium and magnesium). It is also a good source of fiber and is also low in calories. Large amounts of carotenoids and lycopene and citrullins make the fruit have many beneficial health benefits.

4. Fresh fruit and vegetables

Another fruit made up of more than 90% water. It is excellent for watering, providing energy, and has a pleasant, sweet taste. Melon is rich in vitamins and minerals. It also contains healthy polyphenols. Because it is a good source of fiber, it will aid digestion. It's a great choice in salads, desserts, and as an ingredient in beverages. However, keep in mind that melon has a high glycemic index so it's not recommended for people with diabetes or insulin resistance.

5. Tomatoes

One of the most popular vegetables in Poland. Interestingly, from a botanical point of view, it is fruit. It contains about 94% water, so it is a good way to provide an additional amount of fluid. The best, full of flavor and aroma of tomatoes are in summer. The nutritional values and the content of bioactive ingredients depend on the variety and maturity of the fruit.

6. It's a cucumber

It's made up of more than 95% water. Interestingly, it was once thought to be a great fever healer, perhaps because of its irrigating and refreshing properties. The cucumber is low in calories and also a good source of potassium. It also contains antioxidants flavonoids and cucumbers.

7. Rare trees and shrubs

It is a small vegetable with a great variety of flavors in many dishes. It is made up of 96% water, so it is another great snack for hot days. Like many other vegetables and fruits, it is a good source of antioxidants (antioxidants predominate in it). It contains a lot of vitamin C and mineral ingredients. It also has a high fiber content.

8. Summary

The basis for proper hydration is to drink adequate amounts of water, but especially on hot days, it is worth enriching the menu with high-containing vegetables and fruits. In fact, every product in this group will provide a lot of water. It is a good idea to include cocktails or smoothies, salads, but also refrigerants and other soups in your diet. In addition to water, these foods will provide important vitamins, mineral ingredients and antioxidants, which will therefore have a beneficial effect on health and well-being.
