3 of the most serious sins in nutrition

Proper nutrition is a way to stay healthy and fit. A healthy diet should become a part of a lifestyle. Healthy habits become a daily thing. However, not everyone has the right nutritional knowledge and is not always aware of the mistakes they make every day.

Table of Contents

1. No breakfasts, too few or too many meals

The first very common mistake is to believe that not eating breakfast doesn't affect your mental and physical fitness. Many people just wake up and go to the bathroom in the morning and leave the house empty stomached. Sometimes they just drink coffee. Sometimes not having breakfast translates to a lack of energy for the brain and muscles. How to work, study without a proper dose of fuel? Eating breakfast at work or school can save the situation.

2. Too little vegetables and fruits and liquids in the diet

Another mistake made by Poles is to include too small portions of fruits and vegetables in the diet. The diet in Poland is often based on fatty, heavy-fat foods. The consumption of vegetables and fruits is still too low. This is a big mistake because in addition to vitamins and mineral salts they provide fiber, which is very important for the proper functioning of the digestive tract.

3. Meals (sweet, fast food, processed food)

Sweets, processed foods, fast food is the plague of our times. In the diet of the average Polish they appear far too often. Their frequent consumption carries with it many negative effects on the body, contributing to the development of civilization diseases, e.g. obesity, type 2 diabetes. Exclusion of sweets can seem to be the most difficult task. In such a situation it is worth starting by limiting the amount of sugar purchased in stores and replacing sweets with homemade baked goods with natural ingredients.
